3. RAV4

The 2019 Toyota RAV4 is a subcompact SUV that was completely redesigned for the 2019 year. Its new features include a larger infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay connectivity, driver drowsiness monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. 4. Yaris

As a subcompact vehicle, the 2019 Toyota Yaris comes with plenty of standard features to keep your teen safe. The sedan and hatchback models include a rear-view camera, low-speed forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. The hatchbacks also include automatic high beams and lane departure warning. The NHTSA gave the Yaris sedan a five-star safety rating, while the hatchback earned four stars.
